Mansfield is located about 30 miles south of Corning & Elmira NY, about 50 miles north of Williamsport, PA, about 5 hours from New York City And Philadelphia, about 2 hours from Scranton, in one of the cleanest rural areas in the Northeast. Founded in 1857, four years before the Civil War, Mansfield had the shortest lifespan of any college on record. Four months after it opened, it burned to the ground. But area residents believed so strongly in their dream of having a higher education institution that they built it again. This time it stayed.

I am currently a freshman. My major at this point is Psychology.

I guess when i get out of college sometime in the next millenium i would like to have a job as an Youth care worker in some sort of institution or residential treatment facility. that is my current goal in life.

I'm not realy shure what to add at this moment due to the fact that I am new at this college thing, whenever i find out what im doing or where im going then i guess i will tell everyone about it here.
