If i am online, there is a good chance i am on irc. I spend most of my time on the undernet (baltimore.md.us.undernet.org). I have my own room on the undernet( #irchat ) it does not have alot of regulars in it, maybe 7 at the most but its fun to go to and there usualy is someone there when i log on. A couple of people from around my way hang out in there so its like an online meeting place. I also spend alot of time on irc.icq.com (#icq ).

Im not going to add much to this mirc page because i created a whole site for my chat room #irchat. You can view that page at http://www.epix.net/~grief

Some people dont know what "irc" is so IRC stands for "Internet Relay Chat". It was originally written by Jarkko Oikarinen in 1988. Since starting in Finland, it has been used in over 60 countries around the world. IRC is a multi-user chat system, where people meet on "channels" (rooms, virtual places, usually with a certain topic of conversation) to talk in groups, or privately. There is no restriction to the number of people that can participate in a given discussion, or the number of channels that can be formed on IRC.

In order to chat on irc, you need to download and install a irc client. there are sever kinds of them like, Mirc, Virc, Pirch, and WSIRC. I personaly like Mirc the best because i think it is the most user friendly and you can do more with it. you can also personalize it to look the way you want. you can go to the site and download it by clicking on the image at the top of this page.
